When watching a VetFolio live webinar, this is referred to as “interactive” continuing education (CE), which is just like sitting in a lecture at a conference. While some states may have limitations on the number of hours of online CE you receive, this is different from live interactive online CE. If you watch a replay of a live webinar or course, read a CE article, or listen to a CE podcast, this is referred to as “passive” / “non-interactive” CE. To obtain passive / non-interactive CE credit, the quiz associated with that material must be successfully completed. You can take the quizzes multiple times if needed. Our online veterinary CE is often called “distance learning” too. Please note that almost all our CE is RACE-approved for both veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
State veterinary CE requirements listed below are based upon the most up to date information available. Continuing education requirements are subject to change and therefore, it is the veterinary licensee’s responsibility to remain up to date with their state’s CE requirements.
